The SIM800 module is a GSM/GPRS module that supports quad-band GSM/GPRS network. It also has built-in Bluetooth and FM radio functionalities.
The SIM800 module requires an external antenna for proper operation. The antenna should be a 50 ohm GSM antenna that supports the frequency bands used by ...the module. The frequency bands supported by the module are as follows:
- GSM/GPRS 850/900/1800/1900MHz
- Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
- FM radio (76-109MHz)
